Bridal and evening capes, cut in our atelier

A good cape does two things at once: it keeps you warm and lets the dress remain the centre of attention. That is why our capes are cropped to the waist, so the line of the dress, the waist and the skirt are seen in full. Wear one at a church ceremony, on arrival at the reception, for outdoor photographs or simply when the evening turns cool at an autumn or winter wedding. The same styles work just as well over an evening dress, at a formal event or a winter party.

The styles you will find

Faux fur capes. The warmest of all and the best choice for the colder months. The ivory versions, such as Cape AD04 or Cape AD06 with its crystal brooch, sit naturally over a wedding dress. The black ones, such as Cape AD01 or the high-collared jacket with a gold zip, Cape AD02, complete an evening dress.

Cropped jackets in angora, cashmere and viscose. Finer, with buttons or a clean edge, for a more modest look in church. Cape AD05 is hand-embellished with pearls and crystals at the neck, hem and cuffs, while Cape AD03 has a soft, lightly bouclé texture.

Silk chiffon capelets. Light and sheer, for summer weddings or a ceremony where you simply want to cover your shoulders without hiding the lace of your dress. Cape AD07 is one size and can be made in any shade, while Cape AD08, in tulle with pearls, adds a discreet shimmer to the dress.

How to choose the right cape

The shade. Hold the cape against your dress in the same light. A warm ivory goes with an ivory or champagne dress, and pure white with pure white. A mismatched shade shows immediately in photographs.

The sleeves. Three-quarter sleeves leave your bracelet and bouquet on show, while long sleeves are warmer and better suited to church in winter.

The neckline of your dress. With a strapless dress or a deep neckline, a cape with a round neck closes the look for the ceremony. With a dress that has lace at the neck, choose a cape that opens at the front so the lace stays visible.

The size. The cape is worn over the dress, so check the shoulder and bust width with the dress on. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Yes, delivery is free throughout Romania. We also deliver outside Romania: the shipping cost depends on the country and we confirm it by phone.
