Long evening dresses remain the classic choice for weddings, galas and balls, especially for the nașă (the couple's godmother and wedding sponsor in Romanian tradition) or the mother of the bride: a cut that supports the figure and a fabric that falls beautifully, such as lace, crepe or velvet, looks elegant from the ceremony to the last dance. Short and midi dresses suit christenings, civil ceremonies, proms and parties, wherever you want an outfit that feels light and easy to wear. For summer events, choose chiffon and airy fabrics in pale shades; in winter, velvet, satin and rich colours give an outfit depth. If you are unsure what suits you, at your fitting we will show you the same cut in different fabrics and shades.

Ready to wear, made to measure or altered in the atelier

Ready-to-wear evening dresses come with free courier delivery throughout Romania and usually arrive within 48 hours. We also deliver outside Romania: the shipping cost depends on the country and we confirm it by phone. Standard sizes can be returned within 14 days, with return shipping paid by the customer. If you love a style but need another size or shade, the Alice Design atelier can make it to your measurements, and we agree the timing together. Made-to-measure dresses cannot be returned, which is why we take your measurements at the fitting or guide you over the phone.
