The Alice Design wedding dress atelier has been at work since 2011 at Calea Moșilor 100, Sector 2, Bucharest. Here a wedding dress is cut to your measurements, starting from a sketch, a photograph or one of the styles in our collection, and finished by hand, detail by detail.
A made-to-measure wedding dress, cut to your measurements
The first meeting is a conversation: your wedding date, the venue, your style and how you want to feel. Then we choose the fabrics together (lace, embroidery, tulle, chiffon or taffeta), the silhouette (princess, mermaid, A-line, Empire or short) and the details: neckline, sleeves, back and train. We take your measurements, and the dress goes through fittings until it sits exactly as it should.
Hand-worked corsets and details
The corset gives the whole dress its shape. In the atelier we make corsets hand-embroidered with pearls and crystals, with 3D flowers or with lace appliquéd onto tulle, as well as cut-out backs, covered buttons and rhinestone belts. The photographs below show real work from our atelier.
Alterations for your wedding dress
If you have already chosen a dress, from the Alice Design collection or elsewhere, we can alter it: size, length, straps, sleeves, or repairs to the lace and appliqués. For dresses from our collection, you will find size details on the wedding dresses page.
